ASK Mutual Fund, which had recently received the final approval from SEBI to launch its mutual fund business, has files a draft scheme information document with SEBI for its maiden fund.
As per the SID, it is an open-ended liquid scheme which comes with relatively low interest rate risk and moderate credit risk. The objective of the proposed scheme is to generate regular income through investment in a portfolio comprising of money market and debt instruments with residual maturity up to 91 days.
The scheme is benchmarked to CRISIL Liquid Debt A-I TRI, which is in line with the intended asset allocation and investment objective of the scheme, said the document.
The SID further said that Dinesh Ahuja will manage this fund. Dinesh is a post graduate in management studies from Mumbai Educational Trust. He has been working with ASK Mutual Fund as Head of Fixed Income since September 2025. Prior to this, he has also worked with SBI Funds Management Ltd (CIO – PMS & AIF from November 2023 to Feb 2025 and Fund Manager – Fixed Income from Dec 2010 to October 2023).
