Norfolk Trading Standards has issued alerts in the last week over foods sold by Tesco and Waitrose, with recalls launched due to undeclared ingredients.

Tesco’s recall involves its Finest Caesar & Smoked Bacon Coleslaw, which mistakenly contains Tesco Finest Four Cheese Potato Salad.

The mix-up means the coleslaw contains mustard, an ingredient not listed on the packaging.

The affected packs are 270g with a use-by date of September 4, 2026.

People with mustard allergies are instructed not to consume the product and to return it to any Tesco store for a full refund.

Meanwhile, Waitrose is recalling its Waitrose Rhubarb Crumble.

This product contains oats, which are not mentioned on the label.

The 500g packs have a use-by date of August 19, 2026.

Those with an allergy or intolerance to oats or gluten, or who have coeliac disease, are advised not to eat the product.

Affected customers can return it to the store for a refund.
