MCDONALD’S is releasing a new set of collectibles featuring old favorites.
The company is launching a set of cups, each of which is inspired by a retro collectible.
Its set of six plastic cups will be available as part of a “Collector’s Meal.”
The retro designs include Beanie Babies, Shrek, Grimace, and more.
Starting August 13, customers will be able to order the cups with certain items.
During breakfast hours, the cups can come with a Sausage McMuffin with Egg sandwich, hash brown, and hot coffee.
After breakfast, they come with either 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac sandwich and a soft drink.
It’s not clear if diners will be able to choose which cup they get.
Each is made with BPA-free and shatter-resistant plastic and will be around for a limited time only.
“In 20 years ur gonna be happy u collected all 6 limited edition cups,” the company said on X.
Customers flocked to X to share excitement over the cups.
“The shrek one is a NEED,” one customer tweeted.
