HEBRON, April 12, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces stormed Khirbet Shaab al-Butum in Masafer Yatta on Sunday night, raiding several homes, assaulting Palestinian residents, and vandalizing and destroying property inside houses.
In a related development, colonists re-established tents on Palestinian-owned land in the area of Tel Ma’in, in an attempt to expand control over local Palestinian land.
Earlier in the evening, several Palestinian residents were injured in the area during a colonists’ attack, while Israeli forces also detained two Palestinians in Yatta.
The Masafer Yatta area has been witnessing continuous escalation by both Israeli forces and colonists, including repeated assaults on residents and their property, as well as ongoing attempts to forcibly displace them from their land.
