Boiler Room Records is one of Salisbury’s leading independent music retailers, offering an extensive range of new and pre-owned vinyl records, and they have revamped their store.
There has been an introduction of an additional 3,500 pre-owned collectable records to create a premium destination for vinyl collectors. The store now boasts an unparalleled selection, catering to diverse musical tastes and collectors of all levels.
Over the past few days, the Salisbury store has undergone significant upgrades to enhance the shopping experience, including the addition of thousands of new and pre-owned LPs, affordable pricing where many titles have been reduced by up to 70% and an enhanced layout.

Owner of Boiler Room Records in Salisbury, Mark Northey said: “The improvements don’t stop here. Over the next two weeks, additional upgrades to the store layout and branding will further enhance the customer experience.
“Boiler Room Records remains committed to its core mission: offering an inclusive environment and an incredible array of new LPs alongside our collectable selection.”
To ensure an enjoyable and inclusive experience, Boiler Room Records has introduced an improved music system, which creates an immersive atmosphere, complemented by an in-store turntable for customers to “try before they buy.”
Mark said: “Whether you’re seeking rare collectables or the latest releases, Boiler Room Records
provides a welcoming space for all enthusiasts across Salisbury and beyond.”
The shop used to be Vinyl Collectors and Sellers but in May 2024 it was taken over by Boiler Room Records. Previous owner Paul Smith wanted the shop to stay a record shop when he sold it, so was happy for Mark to take over.
