Reece Newell, 26, brother Kyle, 24, and best friend Jordan Doyle-Moxham, 26, have launched their new shop.
The shop takes its name – JRK Collectables – from their initials and is based at a unit at Kingsway Plaza.
More than 100 people attended the “busy” opening event which also featured a cosplay competition – with ‘Mario and Luigi’ being named the winners.

Reece said: “Opening this shop together has been a dream for us.
“We can’t get over the amount of love and support we and the shop have obtained since our opening day.
“Balancing a professional work life alongside our collectable shop has proved challenging but we remain successful and eager to grow.”

For now, all three founders work part time at the store and have other jobs, but hope to go full-time there in the future.
