A petition to wind up a Cayman Islands hedge fund operated by U.S.-based investment group PointGuard Ventures has been brought by one of its investors, Hong Kong-based Suning International Ltd., which claims to be owed $4.8 million in an unpaid cash distribution that it should have received in 2022 but was allegedly not even told about.
