PHOENIX — The Silver Alert for a missing Mesa man was canceled after the subject was found safe, authorities announced Monday morning.

Ronald Mounts, 59, was located Sunday night in Scottsdale and has been reunited with family, according to the Mesa Police Department.
When the Silver Alert was issued Saturday, Mounts had last been seen leaving his home near Gilbert and Baseline roads on Friday evening.
Mounts is 6-foot-5 and weighs 220 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a green shirt, gray shorts and a black Lynyrd Skynyrd hat.
His family was concerned because he has been diagnosed with a form of dementia, authorities said.
