During an interview with Financial Times, Greenland’s minister for business and mineral resources, Naaja Nathanielsen said, “We want to develop our business sector and diversify it, and that requires investments from outside,” as quoted in the report. In the interview, when Nathanielsen was asked if that might include working with China, she responded, saying, “We do want to partner up with European and American partners.
