Equity mutual fund inflows moderated in July, falling 15% month-on-month to Rs 24,697 crore from Rs 28,973 crore in June, according to data released by the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI). Despite the broader decline in flows, investors continued to show strong interest in relatively riskier small-cap and mid-cap schemes, with small-cap funds leading category-wise equity fund inflows, followed by midcaps.
