After a massive surge in the last few days, the Bitcoin price is on another downtrend amid building selling pressure on the token. The crypto market has witnessed significant ups and downs YTD, and the same is anticipated for the upcoming months, but with a BTC price rally to $250k. Although some experts call it far-fetched, others like Arthur Hayes confirm its timeline. How? Let’s discuss.

Bitcoin Price to Hit $250k by 2025 End, Claims Arthur Hayes

Arthur Hayes, a renowned crypto analyst and the co-founder of BitMEX, has reconfirmed his bullish outlook on the biggest cryptocurrency in the market. In his private interview at the Token2049 Dubai, he talked about the Bitcoin price rally to $250k and even $1M, along with providing insights on other assets like Gold, Ethereum, and even the U.S. Debt.

Amid various discussions, he revealed the timeline of the BTC price hitting $250k, claiming that if its dominance continues to go up, it could hit $200k in the upcoming Bull Run. More importantly, he mentioned that this would be an interesting time period, where investors could witness the 2025 end with $250k.

I think Bitcoin in this next little run could go close to $200,000. And by the end of the year, the Bitcoin price target is about $250,000.

Furthermore, it is part of his long-term prediction of $1 million, which he confirmed would happen by the end of Donald Trump’s presidency, i.e., end of 2028. Interestingly, this is among the many Bitcoin price predictions that see BTC surpassing $200k this year.

At present, it trades at just $102.2k amid today’s crypto market crash.

Bitcoin Vs Gold Price, Altcoin Season & More to Know

Amid the Bitcoin bull run anticipation, investors are also awaiting a much due altcoin season. Arthur Hayes claims that the BTC price breakout to $110k, along with its volume hitting $150k-$200k, would become the trigger point of the altcoin season.

As his BTC price outlook is bullish for 2025, he anticipates this to happen by early Q3, and the same would mark the beginning of altcoin season. However, this would be different from the 2021 one, as he claims only strong and top altcoins would explode, not all.

The Bitcoin vs Gold discussion also remained persistent in the interview as Arthur Hayes allocates 20% of his portfolio for this hard asset. He forecasted that the Gold price could hit $10k-$20k as the central banks are buying Gold.

I think gold could be $10,000-20,000 by the time we finish with this rally.

Overall, his Bitcoin price prediction for 2025 remains bullish for most assets, influencing investor sentiments. All this to happen in Donald Trump’s presidency, and Hayes also presented his expectations from the Trump presidency, adding that they will do positive crypto stuff.

However, he acknowledged that no such project has been going on recently, but investors should remain patient.
