BETHESDA, Md., April 02, 2025–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Edgemoor Investment Advisors, Inc. is pleased to announce that the mutual fund it manages, the Meehan Focus Fund – MEFOX (the Fund), won the 2025 LSEG Lipper Fund Award for the “Best Fund over 5 years” among all Large Cap Core funds.
The Meehan Focus Fund ranked number 1 out of 155 funds in the Large Cap Core category for the five-year period ending November 30, 2024, based on risk-adjusted returns.
The Fund’s 2024 calendar year return was 26.11%, net of fees. The Fund has outperformed its S&P 500 Index benchmark over the past one, three, and five-year time frames, as well as since its inception on December 9, 1999.
This is the third Lipper Fund Award for the Meehan Focus Fund in the past four years. In 2024, the Fund won the 2024 LSEG Lipper Fund Award for the “Best Fund over 5 years” among all Large Cap Core funds.
