Star fast-bowler Jasprit Bumrah is back and available for selection ahead of the IPL 2025 match between the Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
“He’s available, he’s training today, and should be available [for RCB game],” Jayawardene said, as per ESPN cricinfo.
“He arrived last night, he had his sessions with NCA [now Centre of Excellence] to finalise that, he’s been handed over to our physios. He’s bowling today, so all good,” he added.
Over the past few weeks, the 31-year-old has been steadily increasing his bowling workload in preparation for a full return. It was only after clearing his final fitness assessments and getting the go-ahead from the BCCI medical team that he linked up with the Mumbai Indians squad.
