Guinness Global Investors has launched the Global Real Assets Fund, an Irish-domiciled strategy targeting listed infrastructure and real estate companies worldwide.
Managed by Mark Brennan, the fund will invest in asset-owning businesses across utilities, transport, communications, digital infrastructure, data centres and healthcare.
Brennan described the asset class as “set up for a long-term renaissance,” noting that stabilising macroeconomic conditions are reviving interest in asset-heavy models.

“I am delighted to bring this strategy to the market with Guinness,” said Brennan. “We see high-quality real asset-owning companies providing stable and growing income and resilient earnings growth.” He added that the fund’s benchmark-agnostic, quality-led approach offers a differentiated exposure with built-in inflation hedging and lower correlation to broader markets.
The strategy draws on Guinness’ equity investment philosophy and builds on the firm’s experience in the energy and infrastructure space.
Edward Guinness, CEO of Guinness Global Investors, said the fund aims to provide access to a “significant and growing asset class” through a proven investment process. “It is critical to focus on identifying high-quality companies,” he said, emphasising an analytical focus on sustainable free cash flows over traditional yield metrics.
