James Davies, of Brecon Avenue, Worcester, pleaded guilty to attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child on February 8, 2022, at Worcester Magistrates’ Court.
He intentionally attempted to contact a girl under the age of 16, who he did not believe to be 16 or over, in a sexual manner by calling her ‘very sexy’.

The 40-year-old was sentenced at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Monday (February 24).
Davies was given an 18-month community order and will be ordered to complete 140 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.
Davies was also given a sexual harm prevention order, with a series of prohibitions, which will keep him away from contact with children under the age of 16, unless in exceptional circumstances, for the next five years.
