Sena’s new Phantom will be their first ECE 22.06 full-face helmet that has been designed and manufactured in their new high-spec factory. This has allowed Sena to produce a motorcycle helmet where the intercom system is designed in tandem with the helmet, resulting in audio that’s claimed to be seamlessly integrated into the shell and safety.
The benefits of this way of designing are seen in the Phantom’s flush mounted buttons, leaving a clean finish with no bulky external unit. The antennas for communication functions are fully internal for optimal range and the battery and Harmon Kardon speakers are built into the structure of the helmet.
The hands-free voice activated control options aim to make interaction with the unit easy and safe, thanks to the latest speech recognition.
Fitted with the latest in communication technology, the Phantom shares the same technology as the latest Sena 60S with Mesh Intercom 3.0 and Wave Intercom. Allowing for long distance range with multiple riders, using phone networks to help achieve uninterrupted connection and the latest AI-based noise cancellation.
The Phantom also features fully integrated LED lighting, with a torch, running lights and brake lights for added visibility and safety. Sena have not forgotten about the comfort of the helmet to include all of these features; the lightweight FRP shell aims to provide a comfortable fit.
