Where are you from?
I spent the first part of my life in Oklahoma. I grew up in Tulsa and then spent quite a few years in Stillwater attending Oklahoma State University where I earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree.
What do you like most about living in Grand Junction?
I like the small-town feel, where it is still easy to make friends. I also appreciate its incredible access to outdoor recreational space and opportunities. If you can’t find something to do here in town, just about every activity you can imagine is less than a two-hour drive.
How long have you worked in real estate?
I earned my real estate license in 2017 and have been focused 100% on commercial real estate for the last four years. What I enjoy most about commercial real estate is being an integral part of helping businesses through various transitions. When a business is downsizing or reorganizing, I thrive on getting everything possible for that business or owner. When a business is growing or moving to the area, I am committed to supporting the business by securing the most appropriate property for the best value. A successful transition for a company is good for business and for the community.
What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t working?
On the rare occasion that time off from work arises, I enjoy traveling, spending time outside, hanging out with my wife and dog and working on various projects at home.
What is one tip you have for someone looking to buy, sell or rent a commercial property?
Use a REALTOR® you trust and who has your best interests in mind. Work with someone who listens and communicates well and often. Don’t be afraid to shop around and interact with several individuals to find the right fit. Do your best to be objective, believe the numbers, and try to leave your ego out of the transaction.
