Patrick Davenport-Jenkins has joined the Manchester-based lender from Hilco.

OakNorth recruited for the newly created director of real estate finance role to help accelerate its lending across the North West.

Davenport-Jenkins, who spent two years at Hilco prior to joining OakNorth, will be based out of the firm’s 60-strong Manchester office.

OakNorth also has an office in New York. The lender’s recent deals include a £15.7m facility to support the delivery of a Motto by Hilton hotel in Ancoats, Manchester.

Davenport-Jenkins has also had stints at Morgan Stanley and Arrow Capital. At OakNorth, he will be responsible for originating and structuring real estate loans across development finance, residential and commercial investments, refurbishment finance, and bridge lending.
