Lee Herron, Mike Monroe, and Mark Piland have all joined TexasBank as senior vice presidents in commercial lending, the bank said in a press release, adding that the hires further “advance the bank’s growing presence in construction lending” across Fort Worth-Dallas and all North Texas.

“We are really excited to welcome a team like this to the TexasBank brand,” said Greg Dodds, bank president and CEO, in a statement. “Their reputation precedes them, especially with their longtime customers who have come to depend upon the extraordinary service and insight they provide.”

Herron has more than 50 years of lending experience. Herron’s area of expertise focuses on financing residential homebuilders and residential lot developers. He holds membership in the Fort Worth Mortgage Bankers Association and Greater Fort Worth Builders Association.

Monroe brings more than 25 years of lending experience. A 2008 graduate of the SW Graduate School of Banking at SMU, Monroe has vast experience not only as a commercial lender, but with a successful mortgage portfolio as well.

Piland has been helping Texas builders and developers for nearly 15 years.

“These guys are truly the cream of the crop when it comes to DFW construction lending,” said Lin Bearden, TexasBank chief lending officer. “They have a deep knowledge of the North Texas market. It’s no wonder they have had so much success over the years.”
