Nighttime drone strikes hit several gas compressor stations in occupied Crimea, officials say. Assessments of damage and impact are still being compiled.

Head of the Unmanned Systems Forces Robert “Magyar” Brovdi reported a series of strikes on gas infrastructure in the occupied Crimea on the night of June 20. According to the official, the strikes hit several gas facilities, including gas compressor stations in the settlements of Zhuravlivka, Aromatne, Klyuchi, and Lohivka.

There was also a strike against the enemy’s logistical transport, according to Brovdi’s statement.

Context of the Event

The information about the strikes underscores the activity of unmanned systems forces in the region and is aimed at weakening the gas supply lines to occupied Crimea, as well as reducing the enemy’s logistics and transport capabilities.

Details regarding the scale of the damage and the ensuing consequences have not been disclosed yet, but the events indicate intensified activity by units in this direction.
