Alkimii announced that it has received an investment from August Equity, a U.K. lower-middle-market private equity firm. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Alkimii provides software that helps hotels and hospitality operators manage people, property, and operations more effectively. The company serves a blue-chip customer base across the U.K. and Ireland.
The investment marks August Equity’s twelfth investment in Ireland. With August’s backing, Alkimii plans to invest further in its product, go-to-market strategy, and expansion across the U.K. and Europe.
Alkimii said the transaction represents a major milestone for the company. The business will continue building on its foundation in Ireland while scaling its presence across additional markets.
As part of the investment, Henry Seddon will join Alkimii as Chair. Seddon brings sector experience and will support the company as it works with August Equity to accelerate its next phase of growth.
August Equity said Alkimii has built a compelling offering for hospitality operators. The firm sees opportunities to grow the company in its core hotel and hospitality market while expanding into international markets and new customer segments.
