Halton Borough Council will enforce a temporary traffic prohibition on Queensway, Silver Jubilee Bridge, and specific footpaths in Runcorn and Widnes.

This will affect motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists from Thursday, July 24, at 9.30am to Saturday, July 26, at 7pm.

The closure, which will be in place for a filming event, will be clearly marked by traffic signs.

Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly, as no vehicles will be permitted to enter or proceed along the affected roads.

Pedestrians and cyclists will also face restrictions.

The Runcorn Footpath 74RS and Widnes Queensway Footpath will be closed.

However, alternative routes will be made available and clearly signposted.

Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to use shuttle buses in operation during the closure.

The maximum duration of the order is three days from its commencement on July 24.

Residents and commuters are urged to plan ahead to minimise any inconvenience caused by the temporary traffic order.

For further information, residents and commuters are encouraged to contact the council.
