BlackRock will initially make the products available across 15 jurisdictions. The listed markets include the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands and Singapore.
Beyond investment management, BlackRock identified potential uses in corporate treasury operations, digital collateral management, bank distribution channels and broader tokenized financial ecosystems. These applications connect regulated fund exposure with blockchain-based financial infrastructure.
The European launch follows BlackRock’s announcement of two tokenized US money market products for reserve management. BlackRock previously launched its BUIDL tokenized fund in 2024 as part of its broader digital asset strategy.
BlackRock executives have also described a longer-term model involving tokenized Treasury funds, exchange-traded funds and private market investments. Investors could eventually hold those products alongside cryptocurrencies and stablecoins within digital wallets.
