From The Precious Metals Summit Beaver Creek, Dale Brittliffe, VP of Exploration at Kootenay Silver Inc. (TSXV: KTN), joins us to discuss why production has become a major theme in the silver market and how stronger silver prices are bringing attention back to advanced projects.

Dale breaks down the La Cigarra preliminary economic assessment, which produced a $1.3 billion NPV and 64% IRR using $67 silver and $4,200 gold. We also discuss the remaining engineering and permitting work required before Kootenay decides whether to advance the project into prefeasibility.

The conversation then turns to Columba, where Kootenay is more than halfway through a 60,000-metre drill program designed to expand its maiden 54-million-ounce silver resource and test previously undrilled veins across the system.
