To coincide with the opening of its first U.S. boutique in Menlo Park, California, H. Moser & Cie. has introduced a limited edition Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton, available exclusively at its brand boutiques. Limited to just seventeen pieces, this version of the Streamliner introduces a full 18k yellow gold case and bracelet, bringing a striking contrast to the ultra-modern skeletonized aesthetic of the watch.

At 40mm in diameter, the case retains the well known signature Streamliner cushion shape, with an integrated bracelet and fluid, ergonomic lines. The skeletonized HMC 814 automatic movement powers the watch, featuring a one-minute flying tourbillon positioned at 6 o’clock. Equipped with a Straumann double hairspring, the movement enhances accuracy by reducing positional errors, which may sound unnecessary but actually affects many collectors. The skeletonization extends beyond the bridge, even the barrel has been hollowed out, exposing the mainspring to allow a real-time visual status of the winding state.

The finishing is understated but refined. The anthracite-coated main plate and bridges feature brushed and polished surfaces, while the rotor, which is a solid gold, openworked piece, provides a three-day power reserve via bi-directional winding. Water resistance is rated at 120 meters, ensuring durability despite the open construction.

With its bold use of yellow gold, this boutique-exclusive model pushes the Streamliner’s futuristic look into more traditional luxury territory. Available now at the H. Moser & Cie. boutique in The Villa Menlo Park, this is a great opportunity to own one of Moser’s most technically ambitious timepieces.
