Hahn & Hahn Adds Private Equity and Cross-Border Transactions Attorney Ramez Krishnan as Partner

Ramez Krishnan

Southern California law firm Hahn & Hahn LLP has expanded its business and transactional practice with the addition of corporate attorney Ramez Krishnan as a partner in the firm’s business department.

Krishnan joins the firm with significant experience advising private equity funds, family offices, venture investors, founders and operating companies on mergers and acquisitions, financings and complex cross-border transactions.

The move reflects continued competition among middle-market and regional law firms to strengthen corporate advisory capabilities as dealmaking activity increasingly involves private capital investors, international structures and founder-led businesses seeking specialized transactional expertise.

Managing Partner Christianne Kerns said Krishnan’s experience across sophisticated corporate transactions and private capital matters aligns with the firm’s strategic focus on delivering business-oriented legal counsel to growth companies and investors.

Krishnan’s practice centers on mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, equity financings, buyouts, joint ventures and broader corporate governance matters. He also advises management teams and executives in connection with private equity buyouts and compensation arrangements.

Before joining Hahn & Hahn, Krishnan practiced at major AmLaw 50 law firms in California and London, where he worked on domestic and international transactions involving both institutional investors and operating companies.

Cross-border transactional expertise has become increasingly valuable for regional firms as middle-market businesses pursue international expansion, global investment relationships and foreign capital partnerships. Private equity and growth equity firms also continue seeking legal advisors capable of navigating increasingly complex deal structures across jurisdictions.

Krishnan said Hahn & Hahn’s longstanding market presence and client-focused platform made the firm an attractive environment to continue building his practice.

Founded in 1899, Pasadena-based Hahn & Hahn provides legal services across corporate law, real estate, employment, litigation, bankruptcy, estate planning and family law matters. The firm represents institutional clients, entrepreneurs, family offices, charitable organizations and high-net-worth individuals throughout Southern California.

The firm is also certified as a Women Owned Business Enterprise and has continued expanding its business advisory practice as demand grows for integrated legal services supporting private capital transactions and middle-market corporate activity.
