Eerie, indie survival-horror, Silver Pines will launch on PC and consoles on 8th October 2026, Team17 and developer Wych Elm have announced today. From the looks of the new trailer, this one is for the David Lynch/Silent Hill fans:

The hand-painted, rotoscope-animated Metroidvania style Silver Pines follows Private Investigator Red Walker, who finds himself in the rundown American town of Silver Pines, a place seemingly abandoned in a rush:
Soon after, a mysterious phone call makes his next move clear: “Find Eddie Velvet”… and so the descent into darkness begins. Silver Pines combines classic survival-horror puzzle solving and resource & inventory management with disorientating, sprawling exploration of the dreamlike small town, where players will slowly untangle its mysteries and nightmares.
Just like classic survival horror games, players will have to manage inventory space, scavenge for scarce resources and find solutions to puzzles blocking the way.
Revealed during Horror Game Awards’ Midsummer Night’s Scream showcase, the countdown to the Swedish studio’s debut title was also supported by the release of a demo, which is now available to play on Steam, and introduces players to terrors that await.
Silver Pines is available to wishlist on Steam, while those looking for a taste of the horrors waiting for them in the full game can download the demo now. Silver Pines will also launch on Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series consoles, and PlayStation 5.
