While these megatrends stretch across the region, there is no single Asia story.
In Japan, governance reform is encouraging better capital allocation and more corporate carve-outs. India combines favorable demographics and rising incomes with expanding digital and physical infrastructure and a maturing private equity market. Similar demographic tailwinds are at work across Southeast Asia, where a growing middle class is being complemented by supply-chain diversification.
Elsewhere, Korea pairs globally competitive industries with governance reform, corporate restructuring and succession. Australia and New Zealand add a different dimension, offering developed-market stability, sophisticated capital markets and deep pools of long-term domestic capital. And Greater China is entering a new phase of growth, increasingly shaped by consumption, innovation and advanced manufacturing.
