The one-year chart also shows how volatile this metric can be. $XRP Ledger has repeatedly recorded daily payment volumes above one billion $XRP, with several spikes exceeding two billion. The all-time high stands near seven billion $XRP. Consequently, the latest 583 million reading does not represent an exceptional level historically, but the speed of the rebound is notable.
The next question is whether the recovery can persist. A sustained move above the 638 million 30-day average would provide stronger evidence that transactional activity is accelerating rather than simply normalizing after a weak session. Returning above one billion $XRP would make the change considerably more significant.
Meanwhile, $XRP‘s price is holding relatively firm at approximately $1.51. The asset continues consolidating following September’s breakout, when it surged from around $1.30 toward $1.60. Recent price action has formed a relatively narrow range around $1.48–$1.53, despite several failed attempts to resume the rally.
$XRP is in comfort zone
Technically, $XRP is doing just fine. $XRP trades above its rising short-term moving average around $1.45 and comfortably above the major longer-term averages concentrated around $1.35–$1.40. RSI remains in neutral-to-bullish territory rather than signaling an overheated market.
For another expansion, $XRP needs to reclaim approximately $1.55 before challenging the major $1.60–$1.65 resistance region. Conversely, losing $1.45 would materially weaken the current setup.
The 386% payment-volume recovery therefore adds a positive on-chain signal, but one day does not establish a trend. Sustained volumes above the 30-day average would provide much stronger confirmation that $XRP Ledger activity is genuinely gaining pace.
