The Carbondale Area FBLA chapter delivered an exceptional performance at the leadership conference, highlighted by a series of dominant individual results.
Matthew Serkosky led the way with a remarkable sweep, securing first-place finishes in Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Stock Markets & Investments and FBLA Guiding Principles, while also placing eighth in Business Law. William Murphy followed with a strong showing, capturing first place in Consumer Skills and second place in both Retail and Wholesale Management and Behavioral Economics. Additionally, Aiden Mannis showcased his versatility by earning second-place honors in Financial Literacy, Career Readiness and the Fundamentals of AI.

Beyond these individual achievements, the chapter’s collective commitment to leadership and social responsibility was recognized on a broader scale. The Carbondale Area FBLA earned fifth place overall for its total Community Service hours, reflecting the students’ dedication to making a positive impact beyond the classroom.
