1. Helios lists T2S Group on Casablanca Stock Exchange
Helios Investment Partners has announced the initial public offering of its portfolio company T2S Group on the Casablanca Stock Exchange. T2S is an integrated med-tech group serving public and private healthcare providers in Morocco and across Africa.
2. Kuramo Africa Opportunity Fund IV reaches first close
Kuramo Capital has announced the first close of the Kuramo Africa Opportunity Fund IV, securing commitments of NGN48 billion (about $35 million) from Nigerian institutional investors. The fund received commitments from five local pension fund administrators in Nigeria.
3. Metier sells minority stake in Cape Town Biogas to Infra Impact Investment Managers
South Africa-based Infra Impact Investment Managers, through its Mid-Market Infrastructure Fund 1, has acquired a minority shareholding in Cape Town Biogas. The investment was acquired from existing shareholder Metier Sustainable Capital Fund II, which remains the controlling investor.
4. South Africa: Nesa Power secures mezzanine debt from Maia Capital
Maia Capital Partners has provided R150 million ($9.12 million) in mezzanine debt funding to Nesa Power, a South African commercial and industrial renewable energy group delivering integrated solar, storage and energy solutions under long-term power purchase agreements.
5. Investisseurs & Partenaires exits Ghana’s Eden Tree to Pangea Africa and Black Star Africa
Pangea Africa and Black Star Africa have announced the joint acquisition of a majority stake in Eden Tree, a producer and distributor of fresh, packaged fruits and vegetables in Ghana. The new investors bought out impact fund manager Investisseurs & Partenaires, which held shares in the company since 2015.
