On Sunday morning, Israeli occupation forces began bulldozing dozens of dunams of Palestinian-owned land in the Wadi ar-Rayat area, west of Deir Ballut, in the Salfit governorate of the central occupied West Bank.

Deir Ballut Mayor Jihad al-Qassem told the Palestinian News & Information Agency (WAFA) that Israeli forces, accompanied by three military bulldozers, invaded the Abu al-Rayat area west of the town and began leveling extensive tracts of land.

Al-Qassem said the bulldozing is part of ongoing efforts to seize Palestinian agricultural land, impose new facts on the ground, restrict farmers’ access to their property, and prevent them from cultivating and benefiting from it.

During the invasion, soldiers broke into homes and ransacked their contents, causing considerable damage.

The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission reported that Israeli colonizers carried out a record 798 attacks in July, killing seven Palestinians in the Nablus and Ramallah governorates. The Commission added that colonizers have carried out 4,286 attacks since the beginning of 2026.

During the same month, Israeli authorities issued 33 military orders, including 31 new land-seizure orders targeting 830.917 dunams of Palestinian land.

Israeli forces also conducted 80 demolitions affecting 165 structures: 80 inhabited homes, eight uninhabited homes, 63 agricultural structures, and 11 livelihood facilities. In addition, the authorities issued 34 demolition notices against Palestinian structures.
