The unauthorised encampment on Eastford Road in Lower Walton was first reported on Thursday.
It consists of a group of caravans and their associated vehicle on land which is of unknown ownership.
As of today, Monday, initial assessments are being carried out.
This is according to an unauthorised encampment log which is run by Cheshire West and Chester Council.
