Peter Schmeichel is furious at one Manchester United player for his role in Brentford equalising on Saturday to draw 1-1.
Manchester United spent much of the 100 minutes or so against Brentford getting absolutely battered.
Brentford were so dominant United barely even had a sniff, but that all looked to be forgotten when Mason Mount put United ahead in the 97th minute.
The No. 7 grabbed his first goal since his £55m move and it seemed a timely one.
But Brentford took that as an insult and grabbed the goal they honestly deserved mere moments later.
But for the equaliser to make it 1-1, one man was at fault. Now Peter Schmeichel has slammed his standards.

While discussing his thoughts post-game, Schmeichel picked out one player in particular who frustrated him.
“When they scored, if you look at [Aaron] Wan-Bissaka, on the Brentford goal, this is what I mean by standards.
“Wan-Bissaka is out there to the left, the ball gets crossed, now look here, he’s walking up, walking, walking, he’s jogging and Ivan Toney would’ve been offside had he followed the back four line up, then that goal wouldn’t have happened.”
The Old Trafford legend then criticised the standards of the defender and fingered him as being responsible for the equaliser going in.
“Look at it, that’s not Man United, that’s not pride, that’s not high standards, that’s not focussing on what your job is, at that moment, because of what he did or didn’t do, a simple thing like concentrating, they equalised.”
While yes it was deserved, United could’ve stolen all three points there if Wan-Bissaka had remained switched on after the goal.
With Spurs and Villa both winning, United had to win in order to keep Champions League dreams alive.
But with the win, United sit eight points behind Spurs and 11 away from Villa in fourth.
With just nine games left, catching up looks an unlikely task especially given some tricky games await United.
Now Erik ten Hag must rely solely on the FA Cup for some kind of success this season.
