New Britain, Conn. – The Le Moyne College men’s and women’s track & Field teams concluded day one of the 2026 NEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Jacey Locci (Stillwater, N.Y./Stillwater) earned a gold medal after placing 1st overall in the women’s high jump, the best individual finish of the day for the ‘Phins.
Junior Rosalie Vincent (Syracuse, N.Y./Bishop Grimes) and freshman Alexis Vincent (Wynantskill, N.Y./Averill Park) both qualified for the 100m finals. Rosalie placed 5th overall in the prelims after running a time of 12.22, as Alexis placed 8th overall, running a time of 12.72. Rosalie also qualified for the 200m finals, placing 3rd overall after running a time of 25.09.
Sophomore Jasmin Gonzalez-Rivera (Utica, N.Y./Thomas R. Proctor/Monmouth) and junior Amanda Lowenguth (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) qualified for the 400m hurdles, after Jasmin placed 4th overall with a time of 1:05.74, and Amanda ran a time of 1:07.68 earning a 5th place finish.
The ‘Phins earned 13.5 points in the women’s high jump finals after Locci took home gold on her third attempt at a mark of 1.68m/5’-6″. Senior Lilly Capria (North Syracuse, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) placing 5th overall after earning a mark of 1.53m/5′-0.25″.
On the men’s side, redshirt junior Christopher Zajdel (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) qualified for the 400m finals after placing 6th overall in the prelims with a time of 49.77 to conclude the top finishers of the day for the ‘Phins.
Day two of the 2026 NEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships will begin with the women’s javelin at 8:30 a.m.
