Officials report overnight strikes in Chernihiv region that damaged power and communications and struck private homes. Authorities are still assessing the full extent of the damage.
On June 14, in the Chernihiv region, Russian forces struck energy and communications facilities.
Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said on Telegram.
Strike on Chernihiv region infrastructure
According to the official, in the Sosnytska community, private houses were damaged due to a “Geran” strike. In the village of the Lyubetska community, windows in homes were damaged – also as a result of a drone attack.
Additionally, there was a strike by “Gerberas” on a garage cooperative in the Horodnia community. The garage and a car were damaged, firefighters extinguished the fire.
