The annual conference of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, which is focused on hospital infection prevention trends and strategies, will highlight communication this year.
The meeting, which runs from June 16 to 18 in Phoenix, will include keynote addresses featuring Samuel Ramsey, PhD, who will discuss teamwork based on his work with honeybees; “This Podcast Will Kill You” hosts Ellen Allmann Updyke, MD, PhD, and Erin Welsh, PhD, who will speak about communication and public trust in science; and Rachel Sheerin, CPBA, who returns with a presentation about avoiding burnout.
