ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund launches Dynamic Asset Allocation Passive FoF

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has launched ICICI Prudential Dynamic Asset Allocation Passive FoF, an open-ended fund of funds scheme that will dynamically invest in passive equity and debt-oriented schemes, the fund house said in a press release.

The NFO opened on August 26 and will close on September 9, 2026.

Its equity-debt allocation will be guided by ICICI Prudential AMC’s in-house Equity Valuation Index (EVI), which considers parameters such as price-to-earnings, price-to-book, G-Sec-adjusted earnings and market capitalisation-to-GDP. As of July 31, 2026, the EVI stood at 105.2, which falls within the model’s neutral zone, the press release mentioned.

Within equities, the fund can invest across passive strategies covering different market caps, sectors, themes and factors. On the debt side, it can invest in target-maturity, constant-duration and constant-maturity index funds and ETFs.

Explaining the investment approach, Chintan Haria, Principal – Investment Strategy at ICICI Prudential AMC, said, “Most investors may eventually get the broad direction of a market right, but the timing and discipline required to act on it can be challenging. This scheme is designed to simplify that decision-making by using a valuation framework to guide equity-debt allocation and passive funds to implement the investment approach across different market segments.”

The scheme will be benchmarked against the CRISIL Hybrid 50+50 – Moderate Index. It will be managed by Manan Tijoriwala, Sharmila D’Silva, Manish Banthia, Ritesh Lunawat and Nishit Patel.
