HONG KONG, Aug. 27, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Creative Capital, the investment group focused on the intersection of culture, experience and community, today announced the appointment of Sam Keisner as Partner, marking an important step in the continued development of the firm’s investment platform and its relationships with investors, founders and portfolio companies.

In his new role, Keisner will take a group-wide leadership position across investor relations, capital formation and LP relationships, while also supporting investor reporting and working closely with Creative Capital’s investment team across its core sectors of sport, entertainment and hospitality. The appointment brings together Keisner’s experience across investment, operations and early-stage company building with Creative Capital’s focus on businesses and assets shaped by culture, audiences and real-world experiences. His remit will include strengthening relationships with the firm’s existing and prospective investment partners, supporting the continued development of Creative Capital’s investor base and working alongside the investment team as the group evaluates and supports opportunities across its target sectors.

Keisner joins the partnership with a background spanning private equity, venture capital, operating businesses and venture building. Over the course of his career, he has invested across private equity and venture capital funds that have deployed more than £500 million, giving him experience across institutional investment environments as well as earlier-stage businesses.

He began his career at John Laing Group, before developing a career that has combined investment activity with hands-on work alongside entrepreneurs and founders. His experience has included supporting early-stage businesses and working with founders as they develop companies, build teams and navigate the challenges associated with growth.

That combination of institutional investment experience and direct exposure to entrepreneurship will form an important part of Keisner’s contribution to Creative Capital. His appointment reflects the firm’s broader approach to investing, which extends beyond providing capital and places an emphasis on building long-term relationships with founders and businesses.

Alongside his position at Creative Capital, Keisner is a Venture Partner at Hangar X and co-founder of Clerkenworks, a City of London workspace supporting early-stage businesses and entrepreneurs. His continued involvement in the entrepreneurial ecosystem provides an additional perspective on the challenges faced by founders and the importance of access to capital, networks, expertise and practical support.

Creative Capital’s decision to appoint Keisner as Partner comes as the firm continues to develop its presence across a group of sectors where changing consumer behaviour, emerging audiences and the convergence of physical and digital experiences are creating new investment opportunities.

The firm’s investment focus spans sport, entertainment, hospitality and rights-based assets, reflecting a view that businesses built around culture and community can create value through a combination of intellectual property, real-world assets, audiences and experiences.

By bringing investor relations and capital formation further into the partnership, Keisner will play a central role in connecting Creative Capital’s investment strategy with its growing network of investors and partners. His role will also involve working across the firm’s existing ecosystem, supporting relationships between investors, founders and portfolio companies.

John Darling, CEO of Creative Capital, said: “Sam backs the person as much as the product, and he works alongside founders rather than watching from the sidelines. He combines institutional discipline with a genuine understanding of culture, which is a rare combination. Making him a Partner reflects the role he has already been playing across the business and the value he brings to our founders, investors and portfolio companies.”

Darling added that Keisner’s experience across investment and entrepreneurship complements Creative Capital’s approach to working with businesses at the intersection of culture, experience and community. His appointment strengthens the firm’s ability to engage with investors while maintaining a close connection to the founders and operators building businesses within its investment sectors.

Sam Keisner, Partner at Creative Capital, said: “Creative Capital is building in the part of the market I find most interesting, where culture meets real assets and real audiences. The businesses we back are built by people who genuinely care about what they’re creating, and those are exactly the people I want to work with.”

Keisner’s appointment also reflects the increasingly interconnected nature of the sectors in which Creative Capital operates. Sport, entertainment and hospitality are increasingly shaped by shared audiences, intellectual property, experiences and communities, creating opportunities for businesses that can establish strong relationships with consumers and build enduring cultural relevance.

For Creative Capital, this creates an investment landscape that extends beyond traditional sector boundaries. The firm works with founders and businesses where capital can be combined with operational expertise and access to a wider ecosystem of complementary ventures.

The addition of Keisner to the partnership is expected to further support that model by bringing together his experience in capital markets and investment relationships with his work across the founder and early-stage business ecosystem.

Creative Capital operates internationally from Hong Kong, Lisbon, London and Los Angeles, giving the group a presence across multiple markets and established cultural and commercial hubs. Its geographic footprint supports its investment approach across businesses and assets connected to global audiences, while maintaining a focus on sectors where local knowledge and relationships can be important to long-term value creation.

As a Partner, Keisner will work across this international platform, with responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships with the firm’s investment partners while contributing to the broader investment activities of the group.

The appointment represents the latest development in Creative Capital’s evolution as an investment group focused on opportunities where culture, experience, community and capital intersect. With Keisner joining the partnership, the firm will continue to build its investor network and work alongside founders and management teams across its core areas of investment.
