Cafemutual has released the Passive Ready Reckoner for September 2026, offering a comprehensive and updated database of essential metrics on passive funds.

The September edition of the ready reckoner tracks 593 passive funds, comprising 320 index funds and 273 ETFs, each with a minimum track record of one year.

The database provides key data points such as Assets Under Management (AUM), Total Expense Ratio (TER), tracking error, tracking difference, and past returns, enabling distributors and advisors to evaluate passive funds more effectively.

For ETFs, the ready reckoner also includes impact cost and one-year average trading value, offering valuable insights into liquidity and ease of execution.

The passive funds are classified across the following segments:

  • Large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap

  • Thematic and sectoral strategies

  • Factor-based strategies

  • Target maturity funds
