Tickets are now on sale for the annual From The Land beer festival in Northumberland.
A two-day celebration of beer held at farmhouse brewery Rigg and Furrow, in the heart of the Northumbrian countryside in Acklington, will return from May 2 – 3.
A spokesperson for the brewery said: “We’re excited to welcome some of the UK’s finest fermentationists and brewers to the farm this May Bank Holiday weekend.
“We’ve invited breweries that celebrate the land and the combination of agriculture and industry that inspires and informs our own brewing here at Rigg & Furrow.”
There will be nine breweries taking part including: Fyne Ales, Origins Brewing, Farmyard Brew Co, Burning Sky, Nothing Bound Brewing Co, Woodshedding Brewery, Artefact Brewing and Ampersand Brew Co – and of course Rigg & Furrow.
Alongside the breweries will be cider producer, Nightingale, as well as natural wine from House, cocktails from Ad Gefrin and Belgian beer specialists Lanterne Rouge. There will also be alcohol-free beer from Below Brew Co.
As well as amazing beer, there will be four food vendors each day.
Across the weekend there will be DJs and entertainment for all ages, plus guided tastings and talks from several of the breweries, offering a chance for attendees to learn more and try some of their rarer beers.
There are three sessions across the weekend: Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening, and a Sunday session.
For those travelling from further afield, there’s a bus running on Sunday, May 3, from The Free Trade Inn in Newcastle to the festival and back.
