Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced: How to Unlock A World Without Gold Endgame Questline

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is a rather faithful remake of the fourth entry in the series. Even so, the remake does feature plenty of new content to sink your teeth into, including a late-game new questline called A World Without Gold, which comprises eight new quests. Here’s how you can unlock this new questline tying all of the remake’s new content together.

How to Unlock A World Without Gold

A character from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag surveys a detailed tropical village by the coast.
The new endgame questline can be started in Great Inagua after completing Sequence 11

The A World Without Gold questline is unlocked after completing Sequence 11: Everything is Permitted, so you will have to play through most of the game’s story before you can access the new questline. Once you have completed this Sequence, the new questline will trigger in your Headquarters of Great Inagua.

Rewards

Playing through the A World Without Gold questline is worth it even if you’re not just curious about seeing how Blackbeard’s story unfolds. After completing the What the Devil quest, Tobias “Deadman” Smith will become the Jackdaw’s Master Gunner, allowing the ship’s broadside cannons to fire an extra salvo for free! This is a significant perk that increases the ship’s damage output singificantly.

In addition, by completing his specific Officer Questline, you also unlock the Auxiliary Weapon upgrade for the Mortar, allowing you to use the weapon in quick succession.

Every A World Without Gold Quest

Quest How to Unlock
That Bastard Maynard Complete Sequence 11: Everything Is Permitted
Not Even A Real Captain Complete the That Bastard Maynard quest
What The Devil! Complete the Not Even A Real Captain quest
It’s A Start Complete the What The Devil! – The One with the Gun – Discipline, and Courage quests
I Just Want To Talk Complete the It’s A Start quest
Not Our Natural Allies Complete the It’s A Start quest
A Cockalorum Complete the Not Our Natural Allies – I Just Want To Talk quests
A World Without Gold Complete the A Cockalorum quests
