Global law firm DLA Piper has appointed Cillian Moynihan as a partner in its global Private Equity group, further strengthening the firm’s capabilities in advising clients on cross-border transactions and investment strategies.
Effective today, Cillian joins DLA Piper’s London office with more than a decade of experience spanning private practice and in-house roles. He has advised leading private equity, venture capital, credit and sovereign wealth funds on a wide range of domestic and international transactions, including private M&A and public takeovers.
Most recently, Cillian held a senior in-house role at a global investment fund, where he advised on M&A activity, growth-stage investments, and strategic legal matters, including the establishment and first close of its new growth fund vehicle. His combined private practice and investor-side experience provides a unique perspective on the commercial priorities, opportunities, and challenges faced by clients throughout the investment lifecycle.
