DWS Appoints Head Alternatives Client Coverage in Asia-Pacific
Asset manager DWS has appointed JB Park as Head of Alternatives Client Coverage for Asia-Pacific.
JB Park joins DWS as a Managing Director based in Singapore, where he will oversee the delivery of the firm’s alternatives investment solutions to institutional and other clients across Asia-Pacific. He will lead a regional team spanning Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan, covering real estate, infrastructure and private credit strategies, it says in a statenent.
The appointment comes as global asset managers continue to target growing investor demand for private market investments, particularly in Asia.
Park brings more than two decades of experience in capital raising and alternative investments. He joins from LaSalle Investment Management, where he spent more than 15 years in a range of senior investor relations and investment roles. Most recently, as Head of Investor Relations for Asia-Pacific, he led fundraising efforts that secured approximately $1.8 billion from investors in Japan, Australia and South Korea across multiple investment vehicles.
Before joining LaSalle, he was Head of Alternative Investments for South Korea at Standard Chartered Bank.

Park holds a Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hankook University of Foreign Studies in Seoul.
