Campervan rentals group Tourism Holdings has received a rival buyout proposal from a Portuguese company, triggering a takeover tussle with private equity group BGH Capital, which lifted its bid last month.
Tourism Holdings is listed on the New Zealand and Australian stock exchanges, and has a fleet of 8000 rental campervans under brands including Britz, Maui, Apollo and Hippie.
