Lonestar Launches Power Infrastructure Projects Unit

Houston-based Lonestar Electric Supply announced June 22 that its Industrial Supply business unit has launched Lonestar CORE — a new division focused on complex power infrastructure projects and capital investments.

CORE stands for CapEx, Optimization, Reliability and Execution. Lonestar said the division is designed to support mission-critical projects across industrial, energy, technology, manufacturing and infrastructure markets in the U.S. and internationally.

The new division will focus on power infrastructure projects where grid interconnection, generation and mission-critical systems require coordinated materials management. Lonestar said CORE will support customers in data centers, utility interconnection, combined-cycle generation, renewable energy and oil and gas pipeline projects.

The company said CORE is intended to align materials, resources and project requirements from early development through energization.

“Our customers are taking on bigger, more complex capital projects than ever before,” said Kevin Hogan, President of Lonestar Electric Industrial Supply. “CORE gives them a single point of accountability for the materials and execution side of those projects, backed by the same team they already trust.”

With $1.7 billion in 2025 revenues, Lonestar was No. 12 on MDM’s 2026 Top Distributors List for Electrical.

CORE will operate within Lonestar Electric Industrial Supply and retain the same team, processes and account relationships customers currently use. The company said the division adds dedicated expertise and expanded capability for capital projects where scope, schedule and material coordination are critical.

Lonestar Electric Supply is an independent wholesale electrical distributor headquartered in Houston. The company operates more than 30 locations across four states and serves electrical contractors and capital project customers. Lonestar said it partners with manufacturers including ABB, Hitachi and Killark.
