The schedule is rough. A lot of new players. A new system. A new coach. We all saw this last year, and I’d be the first to say that I thought we’d be near the 7-win total. I was completely wrong. The vibes were good, we had a new coach, new system, new quarterback but we barely got 3 wins.
Did we address all concerns from last year’s lackluster team?
If all things fall into place, I’m going to go ahead and say, yes, we did. I actually like the WRs we have a lot of decent players, unproven, but a lot of potential. I see why the raiders did not invest in this group much.
Offensive line is improved. Can we avoid the bad injuries there, I hope so. But if everything falls into place this team could be a lot better than is expected. Primarily I don’t think the defense was all that bad last year, the inability to sustain offensive drives was what hurt the defense. If those drives can be longer and can keep the defense off the field longer expect a significant improvement to the defense. And this is without all the great additions to that side of the ball.
Ok the schedule means nothing to me this team is a 10-7 team this year. You heard it; borderline playoff team. GO RAIDERS!!!
