Fidelity Digital Assets Fidelity Investments has launched a new government money market fund for stablecoin issuers. According to a recent report by The Block, the Fidelity Reserves Digital Fund (FYMXX) launched on June 15 and targets institutional investors, particularly stablecoin issuers. The fund invests only in reserve assets permitted under the U.S. stablecoin regulatory law known as the GENIUS Act. Court documents from the U.S. Department of Justice (Eastern District of California Prosecutor’s Office) show that a federal jury found Daniel Chartraw (53 years old) guilty of multiple counts of cryptocurrency and investment fraud, involving losses of nearly $1 million. Ghana is considering transferring control of the Gold Fields Tarkwa mine to local firms when its leases expire next April, as part of a push to increase control over its gold industry and capture more of the proceeds from high bullion prices.
