Fund flows split sharply between Bitcoin and major altcoins in the U.S. spot cryptocurrency ETF market.

SoSoValue data for July 31 showed heavy outflows from Bitcoin, while spot ETFs tied to major altcoins including Ether and XRP posted modest inflows.

The 13 spot Bitcoin ETFs logged net outflows of $265.37 million on the day.

By contrast, the 11 spot Ether ETFs drew net inflows of $9.03 million. Five spot XRP ETFs attracted $7.69 million, while nine spot Solana ETFs took in $395,390.

Among the 12 cryptocurrency ETF categories tracked, only Bitcoin and Hyperliquid, which posted net outflows of $1.83 million, saw money leave on the day. Spot ETFs tied to the other seven tokens — Chainlink, Hedera, Avalanche, Dogecoin, Polkadot, Litecoin and BNB — were unchanged, with no inflows or outflows.
