The National Film and Television School (NFTS) has outlined a busy year ahead, confirming dates for its 2026 Gala, the return of Graduate Showcase Week and progress on the long-planned expansion of Beaconsfield Studios.
In a year-end update to supporters, the school reflected on achievements over the past 12 months, with a full summary available via its Year in Review publication.
The annual NFTS Gala will take place on Monday 15th June 2026 at Old Billingsgate in London. Chaired by Disney executive Lee Jury, the event raises funds for student scholarships and bursaries and celebrates emerging behind-the-screen talent. Tables of 10 are now available, with booking information released by the school in January.
Graduate Showcase Week will also return in 2026, presenting debut projects from the Class of 2026. Hosted at BFI Southbank, the showcase offers industry audiences an early look at new work from across the school’s courses. Further details on tickets and networking opportunities will be announced in early January.
Looking further ahead, 2026 is expected to mark a significant milestone for the NFTS, with its long-awaited Beaconsfield Studios expansion set to move forward. The development is intended to support the school’s future growth and its role in training the next generation of screen professionals.
Further updates on the expansion and other initiatives are expected over the coming year.
